How do the verification and limit levels work? | Easy Crypto [Test] Help Center

Easy Crypto has a tiered verification system, this means that from the information you provide we are able to offer different limit levels for your crypto transactions.

Our verification tiers, their requirements and limits are as follows:

Verification level and requirements	Limits
Level 1 – ID Verified Follow the steps on the “ My Account” page to verify. All you need is your ID (NZ Driver’s license or NZ Passport). The verification process is fully automated and will take about 2 minutes.	$1,000 total across all orders 1 order maximum
Level 2 – Address Verified When you apply for Level 1 verification we will automatically check your address as part of that process. If we are unable to confirm the address you have provided, we will contact you to ask for proof of address – see here for what we can accept.	$20,000 per day (default daily limit) First month: $50,000 total across all orders $20,000 per month rolling limit
Level 3 – Source of Funds Verified If you are buying crypto: If you want to spend over $50,000 with us, you’ll need to verify source of funds. This is a very, very short, and simple process. We don’t want to snoop on your private data or to assess your finances, we’re simply required by law to be able to say that your spending seems reasonable for your situation. There are a few ways you can show this: Evidence of your source of funds – see here for some examples Bank statements which show the same source of funds Expected transaction frequency and values If you are selling crypto: If you want to sell (not buy) large amounts of crypto then we will need to understand where your crypto has come from. If you’ve bought from us originally, kei te pai, we can buy that back no problem. If you’ve bought somewhere else we can help you out, but for amounts over NZ$100,000 we will need some details around where the crypto came from. Have a read of our article here for more details. Please note that when you verify a source of funds, that the limits do not continuously roll over to that amount. Once the verified amount has been reached the limit will reset back to the $20,000 monthly limit until more sources of funds are verified.
